MSF BASIC RIDERCOURSE Licensing

The BasicĀ RiderCourse provides the basic entry-level skills for a new rider to begin practicing and developing the mental and motor skills important for safer street operation.

This class gives you the fundamentals of operating a motorcycle. It is basic, but it moves at a much faster pace than FirstRide. We provide lightweight training motorcycles for you to use during the course. Upon completing your registration, you will receive a confirmation email with a link to a MANDATORY 5 hour eCourse that is completed prior to range instruction. The riding portion of the course is spread over TWO days with eleven hours of riding and instruction at the range. Click Schedule & Register to see current pricing and availability of classes.

Successful completion of the Basic Ridercourse will get you a completion card that waives the DMV Road Test. The DMV still requires their written test.
